Besmaya Natural Gas Combined Cycle Plant with 1500 MW Capacity in Baghdad is started with ENKA Construction’s investment. Plant consists of two power blocks. Each block is including two turbine generators and they can be used as open and combined cycle mode.
The project has a critical mission there, so Iraqi Kurdish Regional Government also takes care this project seriously. Expected end date of the project is in the last quarter 2017 and site works are continuing at full speed.
Ex-proof and special detection equipments (flame, probe type, linear) are used according to the site needs in the risk area. Additionally, water and gas extinguishing systems are activeted by addressable detection equipments.
All panels are communicated over a network infrastructure. In this way, even with a single panel, site monitoring and control can be achieved.
